AI Content Disclaimer

Effective Date: 10 February 2026 Last Updated: 10 February 2026

DiscoverWorthy uses artificial intelligence to generate content. This disclaimer explains how AI is used in our platform, what data is processed, and the limitations you should be aware of.

1. AI Technology We Use

1.1. Text Generation

We use Azure OpenAI (GPT-4o) for text content generation. This is Microsoft's enterprise AI service—not the public OpenAI ChatGPT product. Our deployment is hosted on Microsoft Azure infrastructure under enterprise data protection terms.

1.2. Image Generation

We use Azure DALL-E 3 for cover photo generation. Generated images are AI-created and may not perfectly represent the intended subject matter.

1.3. Web Search

We use Brave Search API for certain features (keyword tracking, AI visibility checks) that require web search results.

3. Important Data Disclosure

3.1. Customer Data Sent to AI

When generating customer stories, case studies, or content that references customers, the following data is sent to Azure OpenAI without anonymization:

  • Customer full names
  • Company names
  • Project/product names
  • Full conversation transcripts
  • Testimonial quotes

3.2. Business Data Sent to AI

  • Your brand voice guidelines
  • Products and services information
  • Team member names, roles, and specialties
  • Competitor names and URLs
  • Website content (for brand voice analysis)

3.3. How AI Processes This Data

Azure OpenAI processes your data under Microsoft's enterprise data protection agreement:

  • Your data is NOT used to train or improve AI models
  • Data is processed in real-time and not stored by Azure OpenAI after processing
  • Data is encrypted in transit
  • Microsoft's abuse monitoring may retain data for up to 30 days (can be disabled for approved customers)

4. Limitations and Risks

4.1. Accuracy

AI-generated content may contain:

  • Factual errors — incorrect statistics, dates, or claims
  • Hallucinations — plausible-sounding but fabricated information
  • Outdated information — the AI model has a training data cutoff and may not reflect current events
  • Biases — inherited from training data

4.2. Not a Substitute for Human Judgment

AI-Generated Content is a starting point, not a finished product. You must review all content before publishing. Specifically:

  • Verify all facts, statistics, and claims
  • Check that quotes are accurate and properly attributed
  • Ensure content complies with applicable laws and regulations
  • Confirm that content does not infringe on third-party intellectual property
  • Review for tone, accuracy, and appropriateness

4.3. Not Professional Advice

AI-Generated Content does not constitute and should not be relied upon as:

  • Legal advice
  • Medical or health advice
  • Financial or investment advice
  • Any other form of professional advice

Always consult qualified professionals for professional guidance.

4.4. Cover Photos

AI-generated cover photos (DALL-E 3):

  • May not perfectly represent the intended subject
  • Should not be assumed to depict real people, places, or products
  • May contain visual artifacts or inconsistencies
  • Are generated in 4 variations (2 photorealistic, 2 illustrated) for selection

5. Content Ownership

You own AI-Generated Content created through your Account, subject to:

  • Our Terms of Service
  • Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service Terms
  • Applicable intellectual property laws

AI-generated content may be similar to content generated for other users or available elsewhere. We do not guarantee uniqueness.

6. Regulatory Transparency

This disclaimer is provided in alignment with:

  • EU AI Act — transparency obligations for AI-generated content
  • US FTC Guidelines — on AI-generated content and endorsements
  • ACCC Guidelines (Australia) — on misleading AI-generated content
  • UK Government AI Regulation — principles of transparency and accountability

7. System Behavior

7.1. Retry Logic

If an AI generation request fails, our system automatically retries with exponential backoff (up to 5 attempts). This is relevant for understanding processing delays, not for content quality.

7.2. Content Streaming

Blog post generation uses real-time token streaming—you see content being written in real time. The content may change or be regenerated if there are issues.

7.3. Content Blocklist

The "Never Mention" feature prevents AI from including specified competitor names in generated content. This is a content control tool, not a guarantee—occasional mentions may occur in edge cases.
